SOUTH FLORIDA HUSKERS UPDATE (January 6, 2011):
THANK YOU--to everyone for coming out to our watch parties this past year and participating in supporting the South Florida Huskers Scholarship Fund through the University of Nebraska Foundation! In late December, we made a $1,000 donation because of the support of our members. We really appreciate everyone's continued support! If you are interested in make a personal donation to our designated fund, click on this link http://nufoundation.org - which will direct you to the University of Nebraska Foundation web site and then click Make a Gift and search funds "South Florida Huskers" and the South Florida Huskers Scholarship Fund will appear. GBR!

WATCH PARTY LOCATIONS -- CJ’S DRAFTHOUSE 1825 W. Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442. CJ’s is located on the northwest corner of Hillsboro Blvd and Military Trail in Deerfield Beach. CJ's is also perfecting a new version of the cabbage roll for this fall's watch parties. CJ's has repainted the front glass in red and white colors and have added a large red "N" too. Specials at CJ's for us include: cabbage roll sandwiches with fries, $9.99; Elk Creek drink $5.50; red beer $3; Red Punch Bucket $8; jagerbombs $5 and all Husker fans receive 10% off their bill!

SOUTH FLORIDA HUSKERS T-SHIRTS!
The South Florida Huskers T-shirts are now available. These shirts are a higher quality than in past years and feel great! Shirts are $15 each. Where else can you find a Husker shirt with palm trees? The black shirts have a light white stitching around the sleeves and bottom. These shirts make great Husker gifts. These shirts will be available for purchase at the Watch Party or can be purchased at the SFHuskers Store. Thanks for your support!

OUR MISSION--The South Florida Husker Chapter is formed to cooperate with the Nebraska Alumni Association to inform, actively engage, and recognize graduates, former students and friends in support of the University of Nebraska, and to encourage and coordinate activities of graduates, former students and friends in support of the University of Nebraska, and the great state of Nebraska.
