SOUTH FLORIDA HUSKERS UPDATE (May 5, 2015):
The South Florida BIG TEN Alumni group will be getting a block of tickets for the Cubs vs. Marlins game on Tuesday, June 2 at 7 pm. Tickets are blocked off for behind home plate for $26 per ticket!! Family and friends are most welcome to attend as well. For tickets, please send a check to the Illinois Alumni Club of South Florida, 1201 SW 141 Ave., #104, Pembroke Pines, FL 33027. Deadline for tickets is May 30.
HUSKERS v. MIAMI GAME
More information about the South Florida Huskers block of tickets for the Nebraska vs. Miami game will be released in May. If you are interested in being in our block of tickets for the Saturday, September 19th game, please e-mail us and you will be added to our list. Ticket price and location have not been released since Sun Life Stadium is under construction. Once details are released, those on our list we be notified. GBR!

FLORIDA RESIDENTS JOIN NEBRASKA ATHLETICS: Fort Lauderdale's Cypress Bay cornerback Boaz Joseph and Lakeland Lake Gibson's Reuben Jones signed with football; Andrew Dzulynsky, from Miramar signed with Tennis; Antonio Castro from Pinecrest joins gymnastics; Track & Field: Chanel Freeman (Hallandale, hurdles), La'Kayla Harris (Miami Northwestern, sprints), Lamisha Simmons (Hallandale, hurdles), Katrina Santiago (Ferguson, distance) and Oliver Alexandre (Hallandale, sprints) in Men's track; Sarasota native Michael Colgate joins Men's Golf. SCHOLARSHIP FUND DONATION--In 2013, we donated $2,000 and in 2014 we donated another $2,000 for our South Florida Huskers scholarship fund at the University of Nebraska Foundation. Our total so far is $7,563! We really appreciate everyone's continued support! If you are interested in making a personal donation to our designated fund, click on this link http://nufoundation.org - which will direct you to the University of Nebraska Foundation web site and then click Make a Gift and search funds for "South Florida Huskers" and the South Florida Huskers Scholarship Fund will appear.
