We are doing it again! Our fifth time creating a Taste of Nebraska in South Florida will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024! The event will take place at the Deerfield Beach Historical Society Museum & Cultural Center located at 84 SE 4th Ave, just west of Dixie Highway off of Hillsboro Blvd. We will start at 4 pm with light bites, cash bar and a silent auction. The dinner will include Valentino's pizza and Runzas shipped in from Nebraska. We will also have Dorothy Lynch on hand with cinnamon rolls and chili.
If the food won't get you to get a ticket, perhaps our special guests will encourage your participation with Matt Davison. Davison is probably best known for his touchdown off a deflected pass against Missouri, a catch that saved Nebraska’s national championship season of 1997, but Matt is so much more. He is currently president of The 1890 Initiative, the university’s NIL Collective for Nebraska student-athletes.
We are looking for some awesome silent auction items, such as local restaurant gift certificates, hotel stays and of course, Nebraska memorabilia.
